Willow Creek "Live" at WYSO Radio Station

On Sunday, April 15, 2018, Willow Creek had the  opportunity to perform "live" at the WYSO Radio Station in Yellow Springs, Ohio (91.3 FM) on the Country Ramble Show with Host, Tom Duffee.     The band performed many of our favorite songs including Steel Rails, which received an award for "Best Song" in Americana music from the Akademia Music Awards of Los Angeles, CA, along with a variety of our new songs.

Looking forward to 2018 Music Season

Willow Creek has been very busy preparing new music for our fans and you definitely will not be disappointed.   Music is the soul of people and it is very important as musicians, to keep music alive whether attending musical shows of other artist or helping new musicians starting out.   The band had an opportunity in November to record several songs at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.   Megan Wren, is a Senior at OU majoring in Music Production along with being an artist herself.  As part of her assignment she was to produce a band or group and Willow Creek was chosen to be the recording group.    It was an awesome experience for all of us and hope everyone enjoys the production.

Christmas in the Village

Christmas in the Village, Waynesville, Ohio

Friday, December 4th, Beverly Sulfsted and the Willow Creek Band performed during the Christmas in the Village event held in Waynesville, Ohio. It was a beautiful evening, hearing carolers singing thru the streets, seeing the horse drawn carriage rides, and children happy being able to talk to Santa. Willow Creek had a great night performing sounds of the season along with our traditional music. The audience was great and we were so thankful for the heated tent as the night air was rather "crisp". Thank you Village of Waynesville, Chamber of Commerce, for the opportunity to once again, entertain the folks in Waynesville, Ohio.

Willow Creek is excited to announce that Jerry Bullmaster has joined the band as "the Fiddler".    Jerry is from the Dayton, Ohio area and is multi talented as a musician.    Mike Elliott, of Franklin, Ohio has also come on board with Willow Creek as a Guest musician demonstrating his skill on the Dobro and vocals.

We are excited to share that you will see the full band at our next performance in Springboro at the Bicentennial Festival, in the North Park Amphitheatre on July 4th at 11:00 a.m.   Come out an enjoy the festival and see the new changes in the band.

Ft. Rowdy Days Festival, Covington Community Park, West U.S. Route 36,, Covington, Ohio

Web: http://www.fortrowdy.org/ Fort Rowdy Gathering:  From the hovering lights of campfires, frontier enthusiasts gather in groups playing guitars, drums and washboards much like small trading villages once participated in the 1800s. The weekend begins with an old-fashioned hometown parade on Saturday but the highlight of this festival is the mountain man encampment located next to the Stillwater River.  The event and parking are free to the public.
